Emphasis in this post is how I protect my hair when I go to bed. An aunt (Aunty Laura) so dear and close to me taught me how to "swirl" hair before bedtime. A few steps are to be followed as below:
- Section hair from the centre and brush hair down like a mushroom
- Open a line from the back of your ear
- Place one hand at the centre of your head to avoid having a "cone" on your head- ideally you want a flat top
- Brush hair right round your head-using your hand on head to grip hair into position and achieve the look below
- Apply a bit of moisturiser just to ensure hair is nourished
- Brush some more to distribute the moisturiser into hair
- When hair is neatly swirled around the head, put a cap on rotate the cap while on head-this ensures the hair is held in place. Try and get as much hair under the cap as possible.
Then pics from the following morning
- The cap pretty much stayed in place overnight. If you check on the side you can see it slightly went up.
- Below are shots of the hair at different angles
That's pretty much it, easy hey!
